Sock it to Child Trafficking 5k

This 5K is a professionally timed run and walk for both competitive as well as first time participants.  Join us on the beautiful campus of Ohio State's Agricultural and Research Development Center in Wooster, Ohio.  The scenic route is a closed course that will challenge experienced runners and provide beautiful views for first timers!  This event is family and stroller friendly. Plus, we will offer a great post race party and age group awards, along with a chance to "Ring the Bell" for first time 5K participants and those who set a PR! Please note:  We cannot guarantee shirts or socks past May 13, 2017. We will make every attempt to accomodate requests and make it a great day!

The race to end child trafficking begins with a single step. Today, millions of children around the world live at high risk of being trafficked for sex or slave labor.  The problem seems so overwhelming that most of us don’t even know where to start. Team Hope gives ordinary people the opportunity to get involved and make a real difference by training for and competing in endurance events that raise funds to rescue the most vulnerable – orphaned children.

Ticket options will include a full registration and a run-only registration. The run-only option will not receive a race t-shirt. Prices will be as follows:

Jan.1-Feb.28  Early registration:$30.00     Run-Only:$25.00

Mar.1-May 13 Standard registration:$35.00     Run-Only:$30.00

May 14-June 1 Late registration: $35.00 (no guarantee of race shirt)     Run-Only:$35.00

Raceday registration will be $35.00 and any leftover shirts can be purchased for $5.00

Awards will be given for overall Male/ Female as well as:

11 and Under (male/female)

12-18 (male/female)

19-29 (male/female)

30-39 (male/female)

40-49 (male/female)

50-59 (male/female)

60+ (male/female)

Please note:  Children 12 and up are considered adults and will receive socks in addition to a high quality shirt.  Children 11 and under will receive the high quality shirt.  Children under 4 are free unless you wish for them to be timed and receive a shirt.   We welcome walkers and strollers, however, bikes are not permitted.
