2018 Wooster Memorial Park Summer Trail Series

...It's time to race to raise funds!

Join us this summer at Wooster Memorial Park for a fun and unique trail running series.  5 nights of short distance racing, with twists along the way to keep it fun, will be the perfect way to enjoy the park, get your competitive juices flowing, and raise money for a great park along the way.

Race Dates:   Thursdays - June 7, 14, 21, 28 & July 5

Race Formats:   

June 7 - 3 mile trail race

June 14 - 4 mile trail race w/hill challenge!

June 21 - 5 mile trail race w/mental challenge!

June 28 - 5 Mile Staggered Start race.  Start time based on average pace from previous 3 nights, slower paces start first and faster runners heading out on a schedule accordingly.  Anyone can WIN!

July 5 - 5 mile team relay!  We'll partner you up, and you and your teammate alternate running the 2 mile and 3 mile separate loops to see how you stack up against the field!

Pricing:  Cost is $10 per night BUT if you sign up for all 5 events at once (Series Registration) you will get an ASICS gear bag with the Vertical Runner Logo and YOUR NAME embroidered on the front.  $38.00 retail value means you nearly get your money back!  Sorry, but we only have 50 bags, so the first 50 to sign up get them!

Awards:  Each night we will have awards for Top 3 overall Male/Female, and the top Male/Female in the following age groups:  40-49, 50-59, and 60+

Beneficiary:  Thanks to our partnership with Vertical Runner of Wooster and Vertical Runner Race Management, as well as some amazing volunteers, proceeds after expenses will be donated to The Friends of Wooster Memorial Park
