2018 Spherion Mid-Ohio 13er

The Spherion Mid Ohio 13ER is a half marathon, 5k and 1 mile "Memory Mile" through Richland County. The Spherion Mid Ohio 13ER brings light to organizations that are actively involved in drug prevention locally and starts conversations for drug prevention in our communities. Developed and organized by The Drug Prevention Coalition, the purpose of the half marathon is to gather the community in prevention and support with a mission to give back to the
community.

Sponsored by Spherion Mid Ohio, all proceeds from the half marathonwill be given to a grant entrusted to the Richland County Foundation. The Richland County Foundation will then allocate the funds back to the community through groups and organizations actively participating in drug prevention.

We know there is a drug problem in our nation, our state and our communities. We are not looking for one simple answer to the drug problem, but a movement.

By gathering as a community to run for unity, community organizations can benefit from The Drug Prevention Coalition Grant in a race for prevention.

Our local organizations have great ideas and programs already in place. The Drug Prevention Coalition Grant is an avenue of funds to continue to grow, sustain and create programs that actively support drug prevention locally.

Memory 1 Mile Walk/Run: 

Race Swag:

All 5k and Half Marathoners will receive a race medal upon completion and will receive a t-shirt as part of their race registration.

Memory Walkers will receive an awareness ribbon upon completion.

We will award the top 3 Male and Female in each the 5k and Half Marathon as well as the first place Male and Female in each of the following age groups:

19&U, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
