Nathan's Run 5k & 1-Mile Walk is part of the Wadsworth Race Series featuring 3 races:
The Matchstick Challenge 5k, 10k and Half Marathon
Nathan’s Run is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2015. Every year we pick two graduating seniors of Wadsworth High School to receive a monetary award to assist with college expenses. These awards are given from our race proceeds and from any donations we receive. The recipients are chosen based on need, community involvement, and leadership. This year, we are branching out a little further and giving back to a chosen community project to help at-risk teens.
The event will consist of a 5k run and a 1-mile walk starting at 8:30am held in Memorial Park in Wadsworth, Ohio. The 5k course for the run is a cross-country course traveling across mostly flat ground and a few small hills. The 1-mile walk will be around the pond in Memorial Park.
Pre-Race Registration $25; Race Day Registration $30
*Register by July 10 for a free t-shirt!
Student Rate $20
1 mile Walk $10 per person; Walk Family Pass $30 (4+)
Kids 10 and under will all be awarded a participation medal. 1st - 3rd male or female runners through the finish line will receive a medal and special award. Medals for 1st - 3rd male and female in each age division as follows: 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
There will be after event food and drinks during the awards ceremony.
